The best period of the career of this Ivorian huge striker was the period at Monaco. And although Traore did not stay long in the "Monegasques", having spent only 25 matches in all tournaments, he managed to mark four goals and three assists.

From an early age, Lacina Traore was noted as a promising enough forward who could grow into a good player in the future. But the striker's full potential was hampered by constant injuries, because of which the Ivorian simply did not have time to gain optimal conditions. The French club tried to revive Traore's career by sending him to different clubs on loan, but even there the striker did not do well.

In 2022, 31-year-old Traore finished playing in the second league of Portugal, in "Varzina" - the penultimate team of the championship, where he is not even a stable player in the main squad.
